Development of a monitoring strategy to assess the ecological status of aquatic and semi-aquatic biodiversity of Wied il-Qlejjgħa watercourse, through the investigation of the status of macrophytes and macroinvertebrates, including:

• undertaking of a vegetation survey

• identification of potential aquatic macrophytes and macroinvertabrates to serve as measurable indicators for the watercourse's ecological status

• development of detailed monitoring and sampling methodology and strategy
